Burning out doesn't necessitate constant long hours. I'm sure everyone can relate to going through a period of time when they don't feel like engaging with some of their favorite hobbies, be it anime, games or even vtubers. It's something we get to do for a limited time every day, because you're busy with life stuff for most of the time, and you still get tired.
The difference is that, once you do, you can just stop. I don't feel like playing games today, or for a month, or however long? I don't. But a streamer is very unlikely to immediately take a break the moment they feel a little tired of it.
They'll push through it, because it's their job, and that only strenghtens the feeling.
By the time someone like Ame takes a break because of burnout, she's not a little tired anymore, she's dreading shit like superchat reading streams, and getting anxious the day before because they have to do it.
>But isn't that every job? I don't get to take a break from my job just because I hate waking up every day
Me neither, anon, but I wish I could, and I would if I could. So why would I shit on others for taking the opportunity I wish I had?
