Cover was already pushing the limits of a hyper sexualized design with Kronii. The combination of huge jiggling boobs with a stripper outfit was lewd even for Hololive. The model designs for Advent were more reasonable and half of the new Justice gen are wearing shorts.

There are hundreds of lewd vtubers that go further with coomerbait than anything that will get made in HoloEN. With all the health and hiatus breaks with Myth and Promise were the sleazy outfits really worth the cost? Cover doesn't even seem to believe that since the newer gens have more reasonable designs.

Precisely. Which is why the idea that Kronii's outfit would be "coombaiting" is nonsense. That's not on-brand, and it's not what they were pushing with her character at all.
Kronii's look is the sort of attractive, sexy style that could easily be worn well by a deep-voiced, serious, confident character. Men want her, women want to be her, sort of thing. Unfortunately, it wasn't interpreted that way by the braindead public who see cleavage and post "Hur hur, RAPE, paizuri time, hur hur." So here we are. No sexy outfits for anyone.
