i know this is bait but if you really want me to watcg vtubers and it's not Hololive, you might as well just recommend me a twitch streamer. Hololive is the true meaning of Vtubing for me, nothing else. (except maybe for a few indies connected to them)

I like indies and small corpo vtubers, but it’s hard not to blame people for being uninterested with how much shit there can be in that scene. Sometimes, Hololive is really needed for providing a productive environment to extract the good from them.

I actively avoid the fucking Hololive threads because 90% of the time they are cancerous Twitter shitkiddies. This board was a mistake, it ruined the Hololive community here.

I've only branched out for ASMR content because holoEN doesn't lean hard into roleplay. Had i been able to speak Japanese, i wouldn't need to branch out because holoJP members can provide that.

I probably follow at least a 100 different 3 views and 2 views on twitch, but my oshi will always be IRyS. Indiefags need to stop hopping from chuuba to chuuba and learn how to have an oshi, they will be happier for it.
