the thing is holostars needs to grow on its own merit. it's not gonna grow from leeching off the girls. in fact starsEN has done pretty well this year, better than most of the nijiENs nowadays, and they have had far far LESS interaction with the girls than the year before. how in the fuck could anyone look at that and go "you know what we need is to fuck over the new girls right at the getgo" by having a bunch of mandated interactions. the female viewership of holostars isn't gonna criticize their own guys for talking to the girls but the male audience for these new girls is only theoretical at this moment, it's prospective, just assumed and taken for granted.
the whole thing about "just tell them early on to filter them out" is just a stupid meme actually. it's dumb advice that sounds helpful and intuitive, but in reality isn't. you'll just start out lower and peak lower and have lower success across your entire career. if for a year or two or whatever she built up an actual solid fanbase first and then started to homocollab, you might at least have some holdouts who would not have stuck with her if she did this from the getgo but now are kind of in too deep with sunk cost fallacy to back off that easy. here with the redhead girl, there is no cost at all to avoid her. literally not a second of time spent getting to know her first to even consider it. it's just stupid. it's also why regloss is the poorest performing JP gen in several years because they all had a bunch of homo interactions pre-debut.
