The person in charge of wrangling their talent is focused on success over sanctity of "the brand" so she'd 100% recognize they have more to gain from a happy graduation even if it's a bit of a setback in the moment.
Also, Pomu's and Selen's "graduations" I think showed everyone it's far better to let a talent go on good terms than try to lock them in and cause drama for your brand. It's just the better of two moves.
