>>78526931You say that as if anyone should care about gamers. Also, as if most gamers have any skill whatsoever. Developers knew decades ago that 80% of gamers would quit skill-based games because they couldn't master them and felt humiliated. This occurred more strongly in online multiplayer games, and it drove developers to change how they designed games entirely. Instead of skill-based with constant challenges and penalties for failure, it would be a treadmill that demanded only the repetition of very simple skills. For competitive games this forced them to also include matching that avoided any real challenge but occasionally gave them better opponents so the illusion of challenge wouldn't disappear entirely.
Being a gamer is not a badge of honor, nor does it refer to any amount of admirable skill. It's literally saying that you're the human equivalent of a pet hamster. When people fail at games today it's usually because they're lazy, they don't pay attention, they don't commit, or they're fatigued from playing too much. They don't feel the same sensation of humiliation like they do when they lose to a genuine challenge. When they overcome it by either not longer being lazy, trying it again after some rest, or random chance, then they can still pat themselves on the back for having overcome something "difficult."
So, is Koseki Bijou the gamer of HoloEN? Yes, many of her streams are 8-12 hours of her running on that exact gamer hamster wheel made for gamers.
