The only other "elsewhere" people would have given them shit for is NijiEN and to pretend there's no reason for that is disingenuous. You could argue they'd give them shit for Vshojo but even that has kind of calmed down because people can understand that even if the kind of person that joins Vshojo is trashy the atmosphere over there is undeniably great (good friendly staff support and all that).
