I used to get annoyed at how much of a cliche it seems to be for vtubers to put on a fake high pitched "anime" voice, but I found out there are benefits to it other than sounding like an anime character. Especially if you're a singer, it's actually an effective way to preserve your voice, because speaking in a deeper voice wears out your voice faster. Michael Jackson did it and Ariana Grande started doing the same thing. I feel like this is not widely known yet or else everyone who aspires to be a singer would get in the habit of putting on a voice like this.
