that +500 they got the day after the report is where the buybacks went, or atleast the announcement of said buybacks, I don't know if they've actually bought any yet as they said they'd space it out until august to try and keep the stocks afloat, But yeah this is literally THE last ditch effort to not go bankrupt

While anycolor spend millions on their own stocks Cover used their profits to build the biggest moccap studio in japan

That’s why CEO tend to hold “just enough shares to control the company” amount, you need it to go up naturally, not trough buybacks. If new investors don’t come, that’s 7bil yen in the trash.

It means zero confidence in the company.

Their price will randomly spike up until the end of August, but after that I expect it to plunge again. If Riku is planning to announce EN being merged out/wound down, he will probably do it around the time of the investor meeting (either right before or right after).
