>>78623591Disagree for a couple reasons.
1. Hololive is unable to exploit some of the niches indies have capitalized on, such as controversial humor or hardcore gaming.
2. Nijisanji's fall has created a demographic of anti large corpo viewers who will want to support indies and small corpos purely to "stick it to the man."
3. The large indies of today have their own "brands," in a way that say only Filian had earlier, fostering a stronger sense of personal loyalty.
4. Phase Connect and Vshojo, two of the biggest corpo winners of Nijisanji's, have also built up their brand reputations while also being conducive to lending smaller indies a hand via collabs and what not, further enlarging the sense of community among the smaller groups outside of Holo.
At the end of the day, Hololive and Nijisanji appealed to different audience types. Hololive cannot reach out to those different audience types without adjusting its brand, which would piss off the older Hololive fans.
