>>78749157Because the algo shifted from constantly shoving the same MV in your face standalone in your recommended, to immediately burying them in Mixes if you dare listen more than once of your own volition. Covers also used to be algorithmically connected to the original, whereas now the recommendations in the sidebar/autoplay either just rehash shit you've listened to in the past ~month like Mixes, or they're just random stuff generally recommended to you.
Also, the new music algo is just generally infuriating. The first ~5 songs in Mixes are exactly identical every single time, and then everything after that point gets pulled from 4, maybe 5 artists tops. Were you, for example, on a Project Voltage binge? Haha, get fucked, we purged every single VocaP because the god-algorithm totally knows better. Inversely, did you try using the Hide from Mix option for songs you don't want to listen to? Because it doesn't fucking work, we're just gunna keep ramming it down your throat and you're gunna keep having to purge it every single time or else get jumpscared while you're not paying attention.
