Man the Lauren and Ebio downfall arc in NijiGTA was surprisingly emoi. During the previous episode yesterday, Lauren and Ebio racked up a massive debt of 2.8 billion yen at the cabaret club (which the police have talked it out with Mikoto and Levi today), fled without paying, were hunted down by the very police force they led and were fired from their positions as police chief and deputy chief respectively, becoming criminals. Both were well-liked by their underlings, so morale was kinda low after that. For today’s episode, they went back to the police and gave an ultimatum: they will commit a massive crime (which ended up being the union heist), and if the police manage to catch them, they will return. Well, long story short, the police won and managed to capture both. The final scene where all of the police force members ran to Lauren and Ebio to welcome them back, calling Lauren shochou (which they didn’t stop to begin with lol) was seriously heartwarming, I didn’t think I would be this emotionally invested. RP GTA servers will always be insanely entertaining, can’t wait for VCR GTA again.
