Interested to see what they're about.

EN V-tubing scene is a wasteland for anything competitive-minded and every 'tournament' is just gimmicks and casual game modes. They have a free run up at their own niche of competitive/FPS autist fans and JP viewers who like the novelty of a cute FPS girl they can't understand.

Really confuses me how neither Holo nor Niji tried to capture that market of having multiple high-level women gamers to participate in JP stuff as a Kaigai team. Hopefully these girls get to do VSai and other events.

I think one thing they've got going for them is that Brave have set the ground work for easy collabs with idol, globie and V4Mirai. It's not much but it's something. HoloJP and VSPOJP have zero issues collabing so HoloEN might not be out of the question too.

Disagree. PhaseJP tries to fight for real estate in a much more claustrophobic field of major Japanese corporations.

VSPO EN's one and only major opponent in the 'girls that play FPS well' niche in the West is literally just Doki and she doesn't play them often. The other good FPS playing women vtubers are small indies who may or may not have auditioned for VSPO anyway. Assuming they have hired people who are of a comparatively higher skill level than the baseline for EN vtubers, they'll attract all the people who just want to watch FPS grinds down by cute anime girls.

V4Mirai is pretty much the successor corp to early Lazulight/Obsydia NijiEN. Globie is doing surprisingly well for a mixed gender corp. VSPO EN will be included in collabs with both of them and also collabs with the other small corpos. The VSMP Minecraft server has been very successful at growing the unity in the EN scene while Holo/Niji have been largely excluded for not wanting to participate. Most importantly the thing they did better than Niji is actually creating western-based offices for their EN branches so they can operate totally independently. If Brave Group plays their cards right they can be the industry leader of the EN small corpo scene with how many corpos they own.

They are not going to beat them with the first gen, VSPO barely has a name in the west, by comparison Holo already had a pretty big name in the west by the time of EN and Niji had some members that were already kinda popular in the west even if most of them graduated shortly after EN's debut, best VSPO EN has is V4Mirai and Globie supporting them and the passing knowledge that they are third in popularity in Japan, helpful but not enough beat Niji on the first try
Later gens is another story, if V4Mirai, Globie and VSPO EN manage to grow and help each other they would rapidly surpass Niji and most other small corpos

I would say Vspo is more known in the west than pre-EN Niji. They get a decent amount of subbed clips with five digit views. Lots of holofags are exposed to Vspo through holos like Towa and Laplus.
