>>79166848I've grown from initially liking, to disliking and finally being indifferent to NijiEN. Majority of their hires are people I don't care about and they can't keep a full month without doing some retarded shit, both management and actual livers fault. The culture of both the livers and fanbase has changed drastically over the years and I can't say I wish to be a part of it, as is the case with many likeminded people since we can see the drop in interest.
This was even before the termination drama, the branch just didn't resonate with me anymore like the Obsydia/Lazulight days or even the early 2022. Crap merch, barely any events, many livers are simply neglected for opportunities and you barely get to know the people that just debut before they throw out a new group. The model of handling it simply doesn't work in the long run from a fans perspective, especially if it's not one of the members that get preferential treatment and many spotlights.
I can also attribute my lack of interest due to how frequently Petra went on break or didn't stream regularly. I haven't really kept up with her after her 3D debut since she only had a few weeks of semi consistent streaming. Obsydia anniversary is in less than a month and I don't have any idea if they will even celebrate that, given how lukewarm even the founding group Lazulight's anniversary was even with Pomu leaving in amicable terms.
