>>79035823There's a few different instances of male collabs among the entire EN fanbase, and it's imperative to pick them out one by one to analyze the fan responses to each of them individually.
*And of course, the reactions of fans pre-Tempus (when there were only JP homos around) and post-Tempus after the increase of homobeggars is a different beast.
> MoriEven from the start she was doing collabs with Trash Taste and Rikka, and in general she was far more music oriented. There was never any stigma of male collabs for her, since she kept her interactions strictly professional (and continues to do so to this day). Her content also still remains primarily solo with the occasional Hololive collab, so it never overtook her channel.
> InaShe had one minor interaction with a collab song, most of her fanbase was pretty respectful. Her channel remains CGDCT oriented.
> BaeExpressed that she was a Holostars fan on debut itself, so subsequent male collabs did not face any criticism. Despite that, most of her channel remains CGDCT. Fans that don't like male collabs will simply skip those and continue watching her.
> MumeiHad a collab with Ollie and Roberu at one point (
https://youtu.be/4yD6ulUI6eU) but she never did it on her own channel (
https://vrabi.net/daily/2021-11-16).
There was a gartic phone collab in which she participated as well, which also didn't have a POV on her channel. But she did reference it in her practise stream.
Both collabs were on Bae's invitation, and either she didn't like the vibe or maybe some shit happened /here/ in her split or in her memberships, but she never bothered with homo collabs again.
Thanks to not being on her own channel, most people don't even know these collabs happened (except homobeggars).
And here is where things get murky.
> AmeSudden introduction of homos into the channel by introducing blue fag in a fucking Karaoke stream, that too with a singalong (which even he apparently didn't know).
Ame always had conflicts with her fanbase and did a lot of stuff to basically "spite" them. This + the worms collabs were simply an extension of that, and completely stopped after Vesper and Magni left. It did do a lot of damage to her channel though, since streamers spiting their audience never ends well.
> KroniiAnd the big one. We all know about that whole copypasted thing that goes around basically explains the whole situation and that basically sums things up.
No interaction with any males for her entire career + farming gachis in memberships = disaster when she did it all of a sudden.
Beggars also flung shit on her fans during her stream.
And arguably the most damaging tweet EVER done by the official Hololive EN twitter.
No not this one :
https://x.com/hololivepro_EN/status/1571745933754503168^ this one was fine on it's own, there was no insinuations there, just a simple statement of an already known fact.
But this :
https://x.com/hololivepro_EN/status/1571745936111710210This IMPLIED things about the fanbase.
Things that were not true, barring a couple of schizos.
This one fucking tweet is the MAIN REASON that the whole "idol culture" narrative and "Kronii was harassed by her fans" rrat that persists TO THIS DAY.
All of that over TWO retards who were spamming her. TWO. RETARDS. They and this reaction to them damaged the Hololive community's reputation among the greater internet irrevocably.
Anyway, Kronies' and their reputation remains in the trashcan, but even then her own channel has not gone beyond those initial Tempus collabs.
Her channel remains CGDCT.
Essentially, even the most "homo collabing" (by the standards of this board) Hololive girl has less male collabs in her channel than most Twitch indies.
Despite all the doomposting, despite the absolute DISASTER of the Omega years, Hololive remains CGDCT.
