>>79054643i use a drip brewer because its way easier and much more pleasant to use than a v60 or any other type of pourover plus i can just use water from my water boiler instead of having to have an electric kettle or something that sits on the stove or something
the only reason you prewet the filter is so you can rinse off the paper taste but you dont really have to do that if you dont want to because its difficult to taste unless youre cupping a super bright coffee or something
with drip brewers like the clever you just use water and fresh grounds and steep for 2 minutes and then agitate the grounds and let them settle and then put it on top of your cup and drink it its probably about as hands off as you possibly can be outside of using a mr coffee or something
pourover is a huge pain but if you like rituals you might like doing that
the most important part of artisan coffee is to have a good coffee grinder and use good coffee and not store bought stuff but if you like store bought stuff too thats fine and if you like sugar and cream in your coffee thats fine too because a lot of people like stuff diifferent ways and its okay for them to like coffee to taste the way they like it
