>>79107382Reminder that the whole Coco and Taiwan situation was mostly because the CN antis couldn't stand Coco forcing the change of focus from CN to EN with just memery and her being half-American made it hurt in their nationalist vein, they really were just waiting for anything to happen to use as an excuse to go against her and COVER.
The final nail in the coffin was that Haato also yabbed which made them realize the suspensions meant squat and that's why the focused strategically on Coco but didn't bother Haato because she is popular in China or was, idk right now.
Unfortunately, EN already existed, so their efforts were kinda useless, pointless even, also because it literally backfired on them when HoloCN got shutdown.
In the end, they all got banned from "Chinese 4Chan" and BiliBili because after Coco's demise they went power mad and started to harass BiliBili mods, some got doxxed.
Mods just reported them to the CCP.
Under the pretense of anti-government behavior, because some of the mode ARE state officials.
Police did their job, knocked doors, sent citations or remote shutdown their PCs or even arrest a few of the big troublemakers and the lesser antis all went into to hiding for fear of getting thrown into a political prisoner jail.
This is also why there hasn't been an uproar, everyone involved in th shitshow of a few years back doesn't want to do anything associated with that again out of fear of getting a tap on their back by law enforcement.
Also B2 went through some horrible decision making after Hololive dipped and they tried to fill the gap with their own Chuuba agencies and Nijisanji CN, these horrid events, which made their Vtuber scene go into complete ruins, are on par with the stuff that got Rushia terminated and some of the decisions were as bad as the black screen stream.
No wonder they are asking COVER to please come back and no one is daring to make big trouble. Now that Nijisanji is looking ill, there's need for a healthier replacement, even if once an exilee, it's time to save face at all costs. And the guys at BiliBili are willing to do so if it means saving their media business from the shadow of irrelevancy.
