From what I understand, in Japan the mentality is that if you are trans it's YOUR problem, not other's, so if you want to be perceived as a girl it's on you, and if someone misgender you because you don't pass then you work on fixing that, you don't sperg out on the internet about transophobes and you certanly don't complain that X franchise doesn't have enough trans people, if it bothers you that much then you draw a manga about it yourself.
