If the ED was a standard anime ED with still images and barely any animation, it would be forgotten and skipped by the majority of people. Making it a shitpost meme ED will give it far more attention than if they did the standard ED approach and ultimately help Mori's career more. It's pretty obvious they're hoping it becomes a tiktok meme and explodes.
I just wish they moved some parts around because the best parts of the song imo are right after where the TV vers ends.
