It's no different from working a 12-hour nightshift. Make sure you rest before and after. Eat food to restore your energy. Short breaks are recommended. Being physically fit also means you can conserve your energy better when you do less physically taxing activities. Mostly comes down to activity pacing and mental fortitude in the end. Once you've gone past 12 hours and have natural sunlight to keep you awake you can probably make it another 12 hours.
