>>79327523the "betrayal" was mostly themselves going menhera over announcing a strongly JP oriented schedule for golden week and thinking Ruffians would be much more averse than they'd actually have been if they just worded it less vague and dramatic.
The thing that turns me off personally is that in the beginning, they were very adamant about wanting to grow, but in the "FUWAMOCO way" which at the time meant working hard but still doing things they just like despite of numbers (VNs, splitscreen retro games etc).
Turned out the "FWMC way" didn't mean much since they did a 180 on vertical streams for example (said they don't like them at first, now do them weekly).
It just feels like they go way too hard on numbers now. Their schedule feels uninspired (1x vertical, 1x horrorslop, 1x nostalgiabait, 1x minecraft), they don't try any new things, are way too guarded about everything and anything. FWMC morning has mostly been the exact same formula for 100+ episodes and karaokes are nowhere to be found (probably to protect the voices for projects).
Pair that with the massive break they took during the moving-to-JP-disaster, constant vagueposting on Twitter and barely opening up about anything to the Ruffians, I just don't feel it anymore.
