It remains an undisputed fact that within Hololive EN, Gura will always hold the highest CCV, uncontested (JP metrics don't count as more Japs watch chuubas then anyone else). Its so high that the joke is that every other EN Holomem is a "waiting froom" for Gura. But, there was ONE TIME when someone beat Gura in CCV legit. One time, without
bots.It was on the 6th of August 2023. Gura, usually know for short streams (and considering this wa sduring her "absentee" phase) streamed Holocure for a whopping SIX hours. At the time, she was streaming against Bijou, who was doing an Elden Ring stream.
And for a good chunk of that period, Bijou topped her in CCV
This feat has not been replicated. There was the recent FNAF Fuwamoco stream where the twins beat Gura, but that was botted. This, however, was an entirely unbotted stream (note the lack of jaggedness). Sure, you can say "it was the debut buff" or "Gura was playing a more boring game!". The fact is, Gura CAN be beaten. And even if its whithin Hololive itself, it proves that the other EN Holomems don't have to play second fiddle to Gura.
The rivalry also extends to other things. Gura has avoided one on one contact with Advent, not counting collabs. The one time she was on a Palworld stream with Biboo, she ended up muting the stream. And in a recent stream when she did mention Bijou, it was more of an off-handed remark, admitting Biboo's persistence at clearing games. Contrast that distanc with how Bijou openly acknowledges her latest kouhai Gigi.
Now mind you, this is just a rrat. A schizoid rambling fanfic. But until the day the Goob actually collabs with Biboo, I do think that the Shark fears the Rock.
