You see the odd homeless person who looks at you and sees a demon, the one running away is the homeless person.
Just stay out of the places like skid row, or the more run down areas of SF and you're fine. In short if you see some dude riding a bike way too small for him or shit on the ground, that's a place you don't wanna be (which should be common sense). In the boonies the homeless can fuck off to the wilderness. In the city they have to wander around mostly just trying to find a place they can nap.
