Even with heavy moderation, all it takes is one deticated troll or schizo to spam social media and make them uncomfortable. Even worse, there's also the fact that not having airtight OPSEC can lead to a deranged stalker trying to find ur kid, or a digital footprint that could fuck with them in the future.
Is it really fair to have an unknowing kid possibly deal with that? It doesnt happen often, but why even take the chance?
Just be a normal parent and keep your kids far the fuck away from the internet, at least until they reach an age where you can give them an in depth lecture on internet safety.
