>>79538306>Beggars are funny. They don't actually care about the guys or the girls. They're only interested in either in so far as they can be used to heckin own le chuds. It's the opposite, at least for me. The only content creators to ever make me laugh harder than Bettel were Oneyplays/Sleepycabin (decidedly chud-adjacent channels according to sjws) and it is genuinely frustrating how criminally underrated he is. So I would absolutely welcome bigger people in his own company to signal boost him for the sake of more people knowing how quality he is.
>So you want him to leech?Damn right I do! That's content creation. There is not a single one that grew on their own merits, at least initially. First mover advantage, location-based algorithm grabbing, and most commonly, association with someone bigger. cr1tikal got big from being noticed by RWJ, Mizkif got big by being Iceposeidon's cameraman, Gigguk got big by being shouted out by the anituber that killed his whole family, and so on. Even Hololive talents themselves leech from the branding, or some of their biggest ones wouldn't have been nobodies in their PLs. Visibility will always be the biggest barrier to growth and it has stopped many god tier entertainers from getting anywhere. You could argue that by being associated with Hololive, the Stars are already visible, but that's flawed when they're treated like lepers by their company's best performers. There's actual psychology there that stunts their growth, something that didn't happen with Niji because there was no separation.
