Imagine an alternate reality where Cover goes all in on unicorns. At some point one of the girls WILL fail her opsec and everybody will know she's dating/married. Not only will she get harassed to the point of mainstream news, every unicorn will be suspicious of other talents and there will be a mass exodus of fans.
NijiEN is a great example of the opposite: they go all in on homobeggars. when the facade of unity flakes, the entire branch crumbles to dust.
The only way Cover can fall is if a pro-gachikoi corpo had a meteoric rise and sapped away all of their unicorns, but considering the state of the industry, it's very unlikely for the next few years. Hololive is an oasis in a desert of grifters, Yagoo can get away with not fully pandering to unicorns because unicorns can reject one talent but they can't reject the Holobox. The same will apply to the sisters once NijiEN gets absorbed.
In conclusion: Cover will never stop hiring homosisters like ERB, but they'll never stop hiring true idols like FWMC either. Just ignore the idiots and stick with your oshi.
