the celestial things in the stars sent their emissaries/parasites as way to direct or prey upon the races lower on the evolutionary ladder and said races either try playing ball or try to throw it back by fucking with the system (Marika, Ranni, Miquella) in attempt to drive life's ascension
and ten there's chad Goldmask who seems to have corrected the greater Will's messed up messages on basis of pure logic and strict adherence to laws of Regression and Causality
