>>79746663Seems to be so. They had a really great setup this time around too.
>Directly connected to a prior gen in a grounded way that makes sense>Have their own hideout which is carried over to Liz & CC's stream BGs>No schizo loredumps, just cool shit like a giant telescope>Explicitly set up as a group of do-gooders, in contrast to monsters, goddesses and criminalsAnd then when their streams begin, they're all just bratty girlfailures who say "For Justice!!!" in a silly voice and can barely attempt to act in-character when Shiori or Biboo are mentioned.
I was disappointed, lore autism aside you'd think they would have been like "Nerissa, get back in your cage" or "I'm gonna take away pebbles' pickaxes" because those are the most low-hanging fruit imaginable. I love the girls but they had kid gloves on and still couldn't try to be characters instead of avatars.
It really seems like, if you enjoy the anime-adjacent aspects of Hololive, you're in the minority. This includes HoloGraffiti too if we're being honest, EN's analog to those shorts is just animated clips instead of vaguely in-character skits. Ugh.
