I like the lore trailers and how they shape the discussion around the reveal, even if their impact quickly fades after they've been published. The people at Hololive will know that any "lore" will dissolve into meme and reference material if it doesn't vanish entirely, at the latest when the streamers get into their streaming routine and shape their community as well as their style. Neither the management nor the talents themselves really follow up on their lore in the kind of way that it was presented pre-debut.

But they're doing these lore trailers anyway, and I can see why: It gives the talents and their potential fans some basis for content, memes and discussion - the fans can start with that before the talents start interacting with them, even. And the lore trailers certainly get people talking about the reveal.

They played minecraft fairly often when the server opened, but it's about 1-2 stream a month per girl now. It picked up a bit of traction recently because the server is about to be merged with the JP server, but if I had to guess, it'll cool off again after about a month
The only EN that plays Apex often is Amelia. She plays it about once a week as well.
