>>7985342Haachama wasn't designed to have lore and so we didn't know or expect anything like what she did to happen. The fact it happened at all and the way she went about it suddenly was all an interesting surprise (before she dragged it out way too long).
With Irys it just feels like it's all on rails from the getgo and that's boring. Not to mention the subject matter is just .. boring. Usually, lore is boring. That's why most Holos don't do it. I do think it an at least be used as kind of a cute little tie-in when applicable to something going on with a stream, and probably is best-used for introductions of new Holos - when you are introducing someone with no actual content yet, you can set the stage a bit for what they're supposed to be and give them at least a little something to talk about initially.
For example, is anyone begging Ame or Mori for lore streams? No. See
>>7984035 they do not give A SINGLE SHIT about lore except when it actually tangibly ties into them somehow, like how Ancient Ones is really just cover for someone and Atlantis is psuedo-Gura's-IRL-background if she feels like touching on it a bit. Death sensei is presumably whoever the teacher Mori was assisting when she was doing that gig, etc. Maybe as a cute way to cover up IRL matters or be euphemisms for things, it kind of does a bit there and people do take to that slightly, but straight-up pure fiction lore is not really what people come for. The thing is these facerig models can barely do anything at all besides emote a face (and even that is done half-assed/poorly on many of them); they can't get up and walk around and interact with things much less put on a fight scene or anything in-character. They are permanently a person sitting in a chair talking. Not a lot of wiggle room there. If a Holo proves to be a super creative around that eventually so be it, but for the moment, nope.
