I love the idea of saving Arusan in a human pet AU
He’s shivering in fear or perhaps due to the cold? He is only wearing boxers after-all and the display case is quite cold on contact with his bare skin. Either way, he’s scared for his life, it’s his very last day in this world if he doesn’t get picked. All of his friends/gen mates have gone with an owner back into a warm home… now he’s all alone, with no one to comfort him or at least die besides him.
Maybe the people running this place are right, nothing about him will get him picked. Every person that has chosen one of his friends, they kind of explained why;
“What cutie, I’ll take that one!”
“A demon with a womb tattoo? …Deal”
“How much for beastman? Does he go into heat?”
He then starts crying, he has nothing to show for the people.
“Who would pick someone like me?” He thought to himself. Then he hears the sound of doors unlocking and small chattering making him sit up from a pitiful position. A young woman and one of the owners running the place come in.
“We only have one man left, but rest-assured there will be new cute and fine boys coming in once we execute this one… unless you want to take him? However, I highly recommend you wait for the new ones.”
The woman then stared at him in his display case with a neutral expression. He couldn’t really tell what she is thinking, but all he can think about is how much of a disappointment he is and how she will never pick hi-
“I’ll take him. I think he’s perfect.” She said happily as she crotch down to his level.
“Would you like to come home with me~?”
He felt so much emotions. Happy, relief, shocked and he feels like crying again, of joy this time. He couldn’t speak but he nodded his head immediately after the question
