Russia completely fucked up their image invading Ukraine, which is a shame as they had a bunch of great things and I really wanted to visit St Petersburg to seee it's architecture. People responded to Russia invading by asking for shit like Russian orchestras/music like tchaikovsky to be pulled from shows. It's retarded, but my point is Russia went from acceptable to despised culturally, and I think thats a shame.
If Putin just let the west go full retard he could have just used their historic ties to get Ukraine to join them anyway without a shit ton of dead on both sides.
