>>80251030>\"why are you escaping your quotation marks?\"Its merely an experiment I'm doing when I want to quote someone and it was "kind" of used on a website that I use to browse until it died in 2007.
>This is a quote^Most common feature. They use to put a "=" at the start and it would make their entire text go white. They would then double space and then type what they were going to type.
>"This is a quote"^The second version.
>\"This is a quote\"^The third version that only certain folk used and people mostly used the first one.
This is a quote
>^The fourth version. I specifically type this in "greentext" format because there were people who use to type in bold format. If they wanted to quote someone they would just copy / paste that certain word but not put the "=" at the start and when they add their thoughts, they would add it in bold letters.Regardless, if it IS ANNOYING you (you technically are the first person I've seen speak out on it) I will stop it. But how else am I suppose to quote and also not abuse the greentext feature? Hell I even use the "-" when I'm adding certain things in my posts.
