>>811829I actually agree with you, but there are many ways to teach someone else your ways and thus coax them into following your faith than just preaching. Living by example, being an actual good person, people see that and they start to wonder why. What is it about this person that makes them so content and happy? Why am I not like them? How can I find that peace? If they are brave, they will ask the question, and when that question comes, then you can teach them the ways.
I understand the tenet. I understand, also, that many people who do preach come from a good place. They want to save your immortal soul, or to help you achieve everlasting life in God's kingdom, but the nature of free will is always a question that even the faithful must endure. Inevitably people have to choose Christ.
