Everyone roots for the underdog but once the underdog becomes the top dog, everyone immediately wants to take them down because they want to prop up another underdog to take its place. Happened to Ai-chan when Nijisanji was coming up, and then with Niji when Holo was coming up, and now to Holo. The only difference is that there isnt a legitimate threat that can challenge Hololive yet hence why everyone is trying to prop up their own tribe as being the chosen one.
