The ego, which learns what it has to in order to help us survive in this broken world is responsible for all human evil and is why humans aren't just loving, caring people all the time. We (our ego) simply have to care about our survival, functioning and resources, or we'd just die and disappear from the Earth, it is a necessary neutral/evil. Who we are underneath that is what is 'godly' about us. It has been referred to as Self, no-Self state, God inside, the soul and the spirit. There's a lot of different models integrated into this perspective, because ultimately any single human model is limited in its ability to see Truth. Imagine if Truth was a statue, and our different models/religions were individual people circled around it trying to look at it. No single person can see Truth as a whole. Anyways, Filian a best.
