The only decent here is Pomu and Rosemi for NijiEn. EN2 has Chaos, Civ and Nature for me. People are loving the brown girl though. The 2D rig looks good on her as well. People seem to like the blue girl because of their designer alone.

HoloEN just feels so homogenized. All of them feel straight out of gacha (it's actually the case for a couple) and they all wear the same type of fanservicey get-up despite the fact you won't see most of the design most of the time. A design like Selen's would've never gotten approved by Cover. It's amazing how much of a downgrade this is from the first gen.

Incredibly low IMO and for all the memes that people will draw a pokemon design quickly I have never seen something that detailed so quickly.

Like the only "fanart" (more like official art) that comes that detailed is from the original gacha artists themselves whenever a design gets revealed.

What matters the most is the personality of the Vtuber and their ability to be entertaining. 2nd is the design. We won't know which are good of this generation till we see them stream. But honestly they all suck.

It's too obvious of a bait. You're just giving her attention. The Holo Myth girls had video or streaming related content. This artist only draws R18 and fanart.

Namgoreng is more plausible because she is Nagu's friend. She drew the art in the video. She streamed a few times on Twitch and she is very energetic. Holo Gen 2 won't have 2 artists in one gen.

Isn't this exactly what people were saying about LazuLight? Just give it some time to get used to the designs. I wasn't a fan of Pomu and Finana's designs at first but now I appreciate them and they feel perfect for their personalities even if they aren't the best designs out there.

Elira and Selen are bland designs. They only look good in fanart. Pomu is generic. Rosemi and the penguin are good. EN1 all had designs that are just overdrawn as well. Mix matched hat, tentacles that was never used, scythe that you never see. Gura is plane but since she is cunny it's fine. Ame has the best balance. EN2 is the same but just like EN1 their cosmetics are probably removable as well. Base design which is the face and upper body which you will always only see are what is important. They all look great just with that. Their casual 2D will probably look great.
