>>80540043These two aren't going to form their corpo and that much is obvious. I could end it there but because I'm bored and got some time to kill, I'll type more in reference to Doki specifically since we seem to be on bait thread hours for her and I don't give a shit.
Doki comes with ups and downs just like any other vtuber. While she is a highly self-motivated worker and incredibly ambitious, she also has admitted to having a hot head sometimes and saying things she shouldn't when she gets frustrated. This is, in my opinion, a large part of why management frowned upon her behavior. She did not act with the respect they believed they were due, the kind of respect they could eke out of everyone else in Nijisanji EN because they're basically all spineless and incapable of putting their foot down when it matters. She comes up with her own answers to problems and acts on them as soon as she is able.
How is that a problem? It's a problem because what Doki does is also, in part, expected of the manager that is supposed to be supporting her. Doki networks, she sells herself, she arranges schedules, she makes appointments, sets deadlines. That's all good. But the line between the duties expected of a manager and the duties expected of the vtuber/talent blur a lot with Doki. It ought to be clear what Doki is expected to do and what the manager is expected to do, and confusion can arise from within the workplace when these duties aren't delineated because accidental mistakes and oversight are harder to avoid due to overlap of responsibilities.
Another thing to consider is that Doki herself has grown far too large for a corpo to take in as a member without offering a lion's share of its benefits to her. Doki has no reason to split the revenue she earns with a corpo if the corpo cannot offer her enticing benefits. But what can they offer, realistically? Doki has money, she has publicity, she has connections; she realistically has everything she needs. In fact, it is in the best interest of other corpos to get within her good graces because smaller vtubers can leverage their connections with her to get connected with companies like HYTE, EA, and the small army of creators and artists within her community. I can't realistically see any corpo making a worthwhile offer because there are no more worthwhile offers to make.
Finally, any corpo that agrees to support her will fall under heavy public scrutiny. If they cannot support Doki effectively or, even worse, become an active detriment to her health or streaming activities, the entire corpo will come under public fire from drama vultures, dramatuber, etc. Given Doki has a history of making attempts on her life, no company wants to toy with the risk of being the corpo that "couldn't support her and this time she succeeded in her attempt". That's an extreme worst case but it could happen. The odds are quite low but not quite zero.
