>>80592533I'm gonna DeepL this:
>Q: "Go-Getters" is a collaboration between Giga and TeddyLoid, what was your impression when you heard the song?Mori: Actually, by the time the song was finished, many different versions were made, and at first it was a completely different song, with a different sound. I was surprised when it was brushed up and changed to a pop/dance EDM direction! It took me a while to get used to the new sound, but once I did, it was nothing short of "divine". Even with the big changes, I trusted Giga and TeddyLoid's vision, and I think everything they create is great!
>Q: It was a dream come true to be in charge of an animated music piece. How did you go about creating the lyrics?Mori: It took a great deal of time because I wanted the lyrics to portray an accurate image of "Otherworldly Suicide Squad" to reach a large audience and to be true to myself. Most importantly, I wanted the lyrics to be fun and not too deep. We did not want to make the listener search for the deeper meaning of the message. There is a multi-layered depth to lyric writing, and the listener must decide how much depth to explore. With this song, we want the listener to listen casually and lightly, pick up on the superficial references, and focus on enjoying the music.
>Q: What are your impressions of "Otherworldly Suicide Squad"?Mori: The concept is very interesting. Why is the animation so great for such an interesting concept? That's what I thought at first. When I first heard about the anime adaptation, I thought it was an anime adaptation of "Suicide Squad," but I later learned that it was actually an "alternate world" story! At first I had no idea what kind of work it would be, but I think it turned out to be a really wonderful anime. I have also added a theme related to other worlds in the second half of the lyrics of "Go-Getters."
>Q: Do you have a favorite character? Or, if you have a character that is similar to you, please let us know.Mori: King Shark and Killer Croc are my favorites. I really enjoy the angry monster characters. It is hard to find a character in the cast that resembles me, but I find myself in each for different reasons. Harley is carefree and lives by her own rules. I too am pushing forward according to my inner impulses. I can also relate to Clayface. He is always putting on a show and trying to impress people, but often fails (LOL).But I think that makes me like him more!
>Q. What are some of your favorite animated films and influences?Mori: There are many! I was a big fan of anime all through the end of high school. There was a time when I entered college and calmed down, but around the time of my graduation, I became interested again (laughs).I especially like works with richly expressive animation, and for studios, I love all of TRIGGER's works and the early works of GAINAX. In terms of genres, I prefer action/adventure. Also, the art style is very important to my enjoyment of the piece. I am a big fan of Jojo ("Jojo's Bizarre Adventure").I have read the manga and watched all the anime up to now. This is one of my favorite works of my life.
