Fans are just clinging as best as they can to their oshis, and the only way to keep that going is to keep supporting them its just the way it is at the top
Any of these other vtubers/corpos would act the same way if they were that popular, and we know this because celebrities outside of vtubing act in exactly the same way, initial grind into afk/an album every other 5 years to get some money into more ghosting, its literally just how it works
