But for most mainstream fightans? You overestimate how skilled the average player is. If you actually want to play it and put even minimal effort into it, you'll learn enough to go from complete shitter who can't shoot a fireball to 50% WR with fellow low level players pretty damn fast. Most mainstream fighters have skill based matchmaking, after all. I'm saying this as a Brazilian who picked up GG XRD with zero past fighting game experience and still managed to get even matches, even though the game averaged 300 concurrent players worldwide and there was no rollback.
Sure, there's plenty of issues with fighters, including the incredibly shit community filled with trannies and furries, but stop blaming your own unwillingness and skill issue when it comes to the genre in general.
