>>80906193You do know there are many JP clippers who also only just put in Japanese subs under a JP's clip with minimal other editing, right? People shitting on clippers putting subs of the language a chuuba is speaking in, something many proper national/international TV channels also do btw, are retarded. They help the viewers follow what the chuuba is saying even if they slur or whisper, and they're also useful for ESLs/JSLs that don't know/are learning the language. This is one of the ways I learnt English when I was younger, for example.
That said, ESL clippers that don't know grammar, can't separate plural from singular, and can't form a proper sentence to save their fucking life, should not be clipping, or, at the very least, get someone to proofread their shit. Cutting their monetisation isn't necessarily a negative either; clipping can become a passion project so that only people passionate and knowledgeable about the medium and the language may stay, instead of any random thirdworlder with 5th grade English knowledge jumping on the bandwagon to make 5$/video to feed their family of 10 for a week.
