>>80934221The only way any of them can leave early on good, "good," or neutral terms, is through a mutual agreement; which, by definition, requires Anycolor to agree to letting any of them leave early. And they're not gonna let anyone leave early if they can avoid it, because they do not want to lose face before the investors.
Without the option of an early release, the only three ways out are termination (see above; nothing short of regicide will be enough for any of them to get the boot), or contract expiration, or if they get culled in the upcoming merger.
>>80936934That was Mysta. They didn't grant him the perms until after the public announcement of his then-upcoming graduation, to try to coerce him into signing a long-ass contract extension in order to be allowed to appear on one episode of the show. Also the perms were for the show set for the day after his graduation.
They tried to do something similar to Pomu's Fairy Of Akiverse MV, by somehow not securing IP rights to some images that were set to appear in an attempt to force her to stay past Jan 20 in order to publish it properly (which they almost certainly would not have let her do without first signing a long-ass contract extension). She circumvented this with the half-assed live action footage of someone dancing in the parts of the MV which otherwise would have had what she originally wanted it to have.
>>80938487....that would explain why Finana is so keen to tell her viewers that she's trying to meet deadlines for certain things she's doing behind the scenes.
Mind you, working hard to meet work deadlines is generally a good trait for anyone to have, and Finana is not an exception to this rule. What's unusual is the fact that she's publicly announcing that she's working hard to meet deadlines, which is not something she ever did before February. She also announced her June MV back in March, albeit with no details except the fact that it would happen; announcing an MV three months ahead of time is unusual both for vtubers in general and for Finana in particular, which to me was and still is a sign that she had already signed her exit contract before that point (and desu I though she would be graduating this month or maybe next month)
I don't know when the next graduation will be announced. But I'm not surprised it hasn't happened yet, because it's "only" been a bit more than 5 months since the black screen.
