I have information regarding COVER's plans for the remainder of 2024.
The Summer of Advent is going to have both big and small upcoming announcements, like their friends with u's being made available, and three new songs sung by Advent, an EN Shiori and Bijou duet, a JP Nerissa and FWMC trio, and another full unit song that's meant to act as a sequel to Rebellion. There's going to be an unofficial official last announcement after the 3D debuts, being that they're all getting their casual outfits as well. Originally meant for this week, but the announcement was pushed back due to Nerissa's Mama needing more time, apparently.
There's two more upcoming units debuting within the year, and potentially a third that was pushed back to early next year, mostly likely February. These will be UPROAR!! Generation 2 and DE_VIS Generation 2. UPROAR!! Generation 2 is their final attempt at a JP generation for the Holostars brand, and if it fails, only plans for Holostars English will be in place moving forward. DE_VIS Generation 2 is going to be based on an esports team, and is an attempt to move into VSPO's corner of the market.
There are no current plans set in stone for any new branches, nor are there currently any for a 5th generation of Hololive English, or a 4th generation of Hololive Indonesia. I know that the branch director for Hololive Indonesia has stated in meetings that there's no more room for more Indonesian talent, and the branch would need to broaden its target audience to the entirety of SEA if more talent was to be debuted.
The Holostars English branch director is in hot water internally, both for how the branch is currently doing, as well as hiring choices that have led to a stigma of the branch's fans being at odds with the rest of the Hololive Production's fans. Much of the top management wants to axe her completely, citing the reasons I've listed above, but also due to the fact that she's been "too close" to the talent that she's meant to just direct.
Hololive English Generation 4 was indeed an attempt and push towards the EU market, and has been seen by almost everyone as not a failure, but not the big success they had hoped for. There's debate on whether a potential 5th generation should again target the EU market, go back to focusing on NA, or attempt targeting another market completely.
