Black people use the word in common conversation and none of the jannies know what color you are. Makes no sense, right?
Now head over to other social media where, theoretically, they know what color you are. It's fine if they know you're black. It's forbidden if they know you're not. This in and of itself is deeply racist, the assertion that "You are X color therefore you are not allowed to use that word."
