IN DEFENSE OF SUISEI
So, we've all seen the yab. Everybody at this point already believes it as fact; 5ch, /jp/ even the schizos in /vt/ except for the really really mentally delusional handful of hoshiyomis. Now, I don't want to hear any cope about this. This is an open and shut case if you collectively consider all the circumstantial evidence. If you dont agree, don't reply to me, please.
Now, if anything, I admire Suisei even more. This revelation really opened up her circumstances, her story if you will.
Here is a story of a woman, a dreamer, who endured so much suffering as a brown woman in an objectively racist Japan. She probably had a lot of problems as a hafu in Japan. Shunned, and probably bullied. But thankfully, she grew up with a good mother and father, and a closely knit family (a very filipino trait). She grew up with character, a colorful personality, willingness to win and a hate to lose, and grew up with passion with what she loves like no other.
She was probably denied by idol agencies for the reason that Japanese are racists. Sad, but a likely fact.
She is the EPITOME OF VTUBING. She is a pillar of it, and she deserves it. Funny enough, with her hiding her face behind a cute anime avatar, we only see her talent rather than being biased with how she looks, and she flourished as a great and popular singer. She is a posterchild of why vtubing is something uplifting for people who weren't born physically endowed. She SUCEEDED IN JAPAN DESPITE HER BLOOD, and that's beautiful.
The Suisei we know now isn't even possible if she was actually a cute Japanese person in real life. Her mindset is uniquely filipino, and her looks are what gave her a colorful personality. The thing with ugly people is they often work to better themselves personality wise rather than be a whore who solely relies on looks that fade. Give me ONE chuuba that is both cute and interesting. They are almost inexistent and none of them are more interested and talented than Suisei. Suisei worked hard for that talent, her skill in Tetris, her musical talent.
If Suisei wasn't a filipino, she wouldn't be this extraverted and engaging as this is a common filipino trait. Look at her family's Christmas parties, they are all happy and lively. This is the environment Suisei grew up on.
