If you make a ton of money like Noel, Fauna, and Nene then it's a lot easier to get a KU100 than if you're pillow where your fanbase doesn't provide anywhere near as much financial support.

the ku100 is a dumb meme. there are audio engineer asmrtists on youtube whose audio quality is unmatched, and they're using cheaper and more accessible equipment. vtubers only want the ku100 because it has become a status symbol. they're women after all.

The issue with it being a high quality mic is that you need high quality headphones to notice the difference. If you got cheap headphones then the difference will be negligible.

Not that anon but i have a 300ohm set of Sennheiser HD 600s with a max of 39500 Hz that require a headset amp to power them correctly. All that to say if a whale sneezes under water i will know about it as soon as nasa does. Most Vtubers audio set ups for the ku100 including nene amanos is atrociously bad boderline offensive when i try to listen. Call me a cork sniffer or a hater but it is genuinely not good
