Go watch all of Rosemi's matches and appearances compared to doki's airtime. Doki was a personality that people could latch to. She was friendly and streamed her games. She did surprisingly well despite saying she was a noob. Rosemi barely streamed her training arc and did poorly despite being the vtuber Tekken GOD. She got outed as a fraud and nobody liked her for that.

Because team brawlpro were entertainers, first and foremost. Them actually winning was just the icing on the cake and they would've been favorites even if they lost just because they were fun to watch.

The vibes and commentary alone made them by far the funniest and most entertaining PoV to watch despite the fact that 3/5 of them were just spamming alley kicks and one combo until the opponent died.

One of them was entertaining. The difference was pretty clear. Actually most (non-pro) streamers seem to forget that they're supposed to be entertaining, even in a tournament. If we wanted to watch high level competition, we'd watch high level competition.

And to be fair to rosemi, she was definitely sajam's favourite of all the vtubers in the first slam. He definitely talked about her the most in the upcoming days. But when push came to shove, she got revealed as a fraud.
