I mean, getting actually-angry about chuubas, fighting over rrats and who has the best fandoms etc is serious anorak level stuff, even if a big chunk of it is just spun up by bored shitposting kids. What I'm getting at is most people, even "fans" who fell down le rabbit hole aka spent like 2 days watching clips and think they're expedrts, don't -care- about chuubas to really argue about these things. It's like if you went to /p/ and went "you guys are silly why are you arguing over cameras just use a phone XD" you'd show that you just are on a level far beneath them in care about the subject. I think, that level of commitment (which shines through in things like goslings and enshrining of GFE here, which is far far far more concentrated than elsewhere) is what girls notice. If Mumei is aware of that then she is a very wise owl indeed.
