Many EN vtubers are in total denial that a significant portion of the general audience are "creeps". And the ones that do understand are inclined to "fix" the audience by trying to piss off the "creeps" to the point where they leave the hobby.
"She can't draw a clear line, so we have to call her out before that line is crossed" then becomes the optimal strategy and the new "line" for unicorns of EN vtubers.
It also doesn't help that a lot of fans are ashamed of voicing their true feelings as well. They pretend to facetiously say things like "MALE ON STREAM" when it's not serious, like a father or brother showing up, but they have genuine unicorn feelings.
